Yessica completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mercer University. She has worked with individuals (adolescents (15+) and adults), couples, and families through various issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, career changes, emotional dysregulation, communication, self-esteem, parenting, grief, etc. She is specializing in relational therapy- including our relationship with self, with parents, children, significant others, friends, coworkers, etc. She offers services in English and/or Spanish.

I am licensed clinical social worker. It is important in life to work on relationships whether with yourself or others. I love to provide a place where we can discuss patterns, traumas, and/or obstacles that get in the way of your life, your child’s life, or your marriage’s success. I am trained in a variety of topics including Child Parent psychotherapy, TFCBT, Circle of Security, Gottman Marriage counseling,
Postpartum mood disorders as well as others. I also, specialize in divorce cases with young children. I use all my training and history to find the best individualized therapy for each person.

Caroline graduated from the University of Georgia with a Master's in Social Work and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology. She is especially passionate about talking about trauma, disassociation, death, aging and grief. Caroline is the facilitator for Athens' first in-person deATH Cafe. Caroline pursued EMDR training and PSI's perinatal mood disorder training to be equipped to work with and support parents as they navigate the challenges of parenting and the unique way that parenting can bring trauma to the surface. Additionally, Caroline enjoys working with parents through loss and birth trauma.
