Doula Speed Dating

A meet-and-greet with Athens birth and & postpartum doulas!

After a brief introduction and synopsis of what doulas do, we'll enter speed dating rounds where you get to chat one-on-one with doulas to get an idea if they might be a good fit for your birth and fourth trimester when you are home with baby. Afterwards we'll have time to mingle and snack and gather information.

We will also have an awesome Door Prize for TWO lucky attendees: $200 Doula Scholarship!

Do you want to learn more about what a doula is and whether or not you want one for your birth or postpartum after you are home with the baby?

  1. What is their role?
  2. How do they work with you and your doctor or midwife?
  3. What other services do they offer? Lactation? Placenta encapsulation? Prenatal visits? Home visits? Overnight care? Belly Wrapping?
  4. Can I afford one? Are there apprentices?

We have the answers!
