Jessica Tiwari (she/her) is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor. Her experience working with people with disabilities has shown her the impact that our physical condition often has on our mental well being, social life, career and relationships. Jessica decided to begin working with women experiencing fertility, perinatal, and postpartum issues after realizing the lack of services and resources available to many women in these situations. She is passionate about making these resources more readily available to those that need them.
Jessica’s approach to counseling is a collaborative effort between her client and herself to work towards goals that align with the client’s values, beliefs and aspirations. She utilizes mindfulness based cognitive therapy to help her clients work towards goals while teaching techniques and coping mechanisms to relieve the client’s current symptoms and help the client process past trauma. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University and her Master’s in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Georgia State University. She is currently taking courses to become certified in perinatal mental health to better serve the community.
