Ellen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has a great love for coming alongside people to help them move towards becoming the best version of themselves. Life can often feel messy and chaotic. Her passion is to help bring order out of chaos to facilitate growth and peace. Many of my clients present with concerns related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stressful life transitions and circumstances, perinatal mental health concerns, or they report feeling a little “off” and are seeking help to feel more like themselves again.
Her goal is shalom, the Hebrew word for peace, wholeness and universal flourishing. Operating from a strengths-based perspective, she works to create a safe environment and partner with clients to help empower and equip them to face life’s challenges, while creating meaning for themselves along the way.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Family Science with concentrations in human development and counseling from the University of Maryland in 2010, and she earned her Masters in Social Work and a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Georgia in 2018. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2021.
