Are you feeling exhausted from trying to do it all? Are you noticing that parenting is causing you stress in unexpected ways?

The people that come to see me are used to being able to handle anything life throws at them. Other people in their life have high expectations of them that they can usually meet. But, at some point, they begin to feel that perfectionism and the pace of life has worn them out. Their inner resources are feeling maxed out and they aren’t sure how they will be able to continue with the pace they’ve lived before.

If you're thinking about starting therapy, you may be feeling the same way. My approach is based on parts work which uses the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model. Parts work is collaborative, non-pathologizing, and offers opportunity for deep and meaningful healing.

Maybe you have a lot of insight about how you feel but you’re feeling stuck about what to do next. You may have a sense that there is deeper healing to be done. You’d like to get to the source of what is causing your distress instead of continuing to only address the symptoms.
