Kim moved to Athens in 2013 to join the UGA School of Music Percussion Faculty. Prior to living in Athens, she was a professional orchestral musician in Tucson, AZ and enjoyed traveling the world as a musician. In addition to music, she is very passionate about nutrition and holistic well being. Kim is the mother of a beautiful 7 year old boy and 3 senior dogs.

The work of APW is near and dear to her heart as a survivor of severe depression and anxiety, particularly as a mom. She has found that community is everything and feels very passionate about creating & building community for and with mothers in Athens.
