CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER CLARKE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT

I am originally from Valdosta. I graduated from Valdosta High and Valdosta State University with a degree in accounting. I have 33 years of accounting experience that is split between public accounting, banking and education finance. My wife and I moved back to Clarke County in July 2023 as I accepted the Chief Financial Officer role with Clarke County School District. She works for the Cancer Foundation of Northeast Georgia as the corporate donor relations manager. I have twin boys. One is currently attending the University of Georgia and the other just graduated from the UGA with an accounting degree in May 2025 and will be pursuing his masters of accountancy starting in August 2025, My step-son is a University of Georgia graduate and currently resides in Denver, Colorado and my step-daughter is an internal auditor with Truist Bank in their Atlanta office.
