Join us each month for honest, empowering, and uplifting conversations created by and for mothers of color. This is a space where we can connect, reflect, and support one another as we talk about what it means to show up as moms and caregivers of color---navigating everything from mental health and identity to culture, history, and everyday life.

Together we'll explore how our stories, communities, and resilience shape the way we care for ourselves and our families.

Athens Parent Wellbeing's board member alumna & APW's Supporter of the Year for 2024, Taneisha Brooks, spearheads this effort.

• Black Mamas Matter Alliance is a network of like-minded, black-led organizations working to advance maternal & reproductive health. They also lead the Black Maternal Health Awareness Week April 11-17!
• July 19-25 is Black Maternal Mental Health Awareness Week and was begun by the Shades of Blue Project based in Houston, TX.
