Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Group

2nd Thursday every month from 5:45-6:45 pm

There are no words for the loss of a child.

Join local parents in a shared experience of grief over pregnancy & infant loss. Whether your loss was an early miscarriage (chemical pregnancy), blighted ovum, second trimester loss, stillborn, infant loss or any type of loss, you are welcome. There is no loss unworthy of grieving.

We understand it can be difficult to enter our space if you have lost an infant. If you would like to request a chaperone to walk through the shop, we can meet you at the door and hold your hand or offer a blindfold. You are brave and we are here for you.

Led Kora Burton, this time will be focused on sharing experiences, asking questions, supporting peers, and examining techniques for working through grief while discussing when it may be time to get professional help.

Duration

Loss and Bereavement Support

A community of bereaved dads hosting virtual support groups and in-person meet-ups and retreats around the world. It's the "worst club, best guys."

Provides comprehensive information, advice, and support to anyone who has suffered the loss of a baby, at any stage of pregnancy, at birth, or in infancy.

Sends free teddy bear ornaments for the holidays to loss families during the month of October (ornaments can also be ordered year round for a small cost). Store also offers personalized merchandise to remember missed babies.

Started by a loss mom, The Grief Closet offers clothes that let you wear your grief out loud.

Provides thoughtfully curated self-care packages and access to bereavement resources for families in their hardest moments.

PUSH for Empowered Pregnancy's mission is to ensure every family gets to bring their babies home safely, but know that this is far from the case. For those who have experienced devastating loss, they've compiled resources to support bereaved families today, tomorrow, and beyond.

Hosted by an Atlanta-area loss mom, At a Total Loss allows loss stories to be told and resources shared, with raw and unfiltered humor shared together in the darkness.

About Kora Burton
Kora Burton is a loss mom and full-term stillbirth and birth trauma survivor. In honor of her son born in April 2023, Kora runs the Marlo Means Fun Marathon, an annual video game charity stream raising money to support loss families and champion change in the healthcare system for moms and babies. She believes in the power of sitting together in the darkness, being loud about the love for our children who have run on ahead, and challenging societal stereotypes about pregnancy and infant loss, grief, and complex forms of parenthood. Kora has personally benefited immensely from participating in Reblossom's support groups, and feels honored to listen to others' stories of pain born from love.
