Marie Boyle has been an educator in the Clarke County School District since 2006 and currently serves as a gifted education teacher. She has taught kindergarten through second grade and holds a Bachelor of Science in Education, a Master’s degree in Education, and endorsements in dyslexia and gifted education.
Marie is passionate about hands-on, student-centered learning and connecting classroom experiences to the real world. She incorporates green school initiatives and works with community organizations to help students understand their role in the community. As both a teacher and a parent in Athens, she is deeply invested in supporting children and families.
Outside of school, Marie is married with two children and enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, attending her children’s sporting and music events, and spending time with her family.
Marie is excited to join the APW team, where she looks forward to supporting families, strengthening community connections, and promoting parent and child well-being.
